Hi Champers63, welcome to the forum.

I'm glad that they've caught this early as you have a great opportunity to avoid becoming diabetic. It sounds as though you've been given some advice but if there's anything we can help with, do let us know.

Welcome @Champers63 🙂 A good thing to do is keep a food diary for a few days. You’ll then get an idea of where you can adjust your diet or any problems with it.

Hey, Champers63 and welcome to the forum. If you have any questions feel free to ask away.

Welcome to the forum @Champers63

Glad you have found us!

Hope you find the forum a useful sounding board, and source of helpful hints, tips, strategies and ideas you can try, based on the experiences of others living with various types of diabetes for various numbers of years.

Good luck with your weight-loss plans - is that something you have tried to accomplish before? Do you have strategies that you know work for you?

For those at risk of developing T2, often a very powerful approach is to moderate or reduce the amount of total carbohydrate they sre eating (total carbs, not just ‘of which sugars’). All carbohydrates are broken down to glucose in the body. And in the vast majority of cases, that happens fairly swiftly after consumption.

Good luck, and let us know how you get on 🙂

Thank you Inka …My suspicion lies with raspberry trifle
I think it must be a bit more than that, raspberries are one of the better berries, it must have been the rest of it though the cream is fine as well 🙂
Just be careful of all the carbohydrates as that is where the problem will be and enjoy raspberries with some cream or yoghurt instead.
