I've had a normal chocolate éclair in the past as a treat with minimal effect on my blood sugar levels.
We've just launched a new product at work.
Should I try it? All in the name of science of course! 😉

You have one and I’ll have the other 😛 They look seriously scrummy!

It’s very good of you to take on this scientific experiment @Stitch147 , I’m sure the forum members appreciate your selflessness 🙂

How different is the carb value, cos ganache isn't usually carb free. (At least, Druckers wasn't in their choc ganaches.)

Bugger sharing it, even at £5 a pack, I'll be the king of gluttony with that monster!

Exactly my type of experiment. Probably need to try it out for myself.

Not had a chance to look at it yet, been in the office all day.

Not too bad for me as I get 20% discount.

I'm asking for the comparison of the carb value of the new one with the carb value of the old one. We already know Stitch's body can cope with the ones above.

My body will cope, if I want it to and enable it to do so by merely injecting the correct amount of insulin, but Stitch does not have this weapon in her arsenal.

Checked before I left work, they are 36g of carbs each.

Yeah, that's kinda what I expected. Might be a step too far - but if you want to test cos they're irresistible to you - do so by all means cos they'll just be there looking at you until you do really.

Thanks Stitch that’s very kind of you to give me such a lovely treat.
I will have one now and the other, well , a bit later lol.

Things you have to do in name of science stitch. M&S although expensive has good food, we get fruit scones from there & jam clotted cream, when on travels we call into cafe to have same, lovely little treat.

Decided not to get them yet. Will probably wait until August and have one as a birthday treat instead of my usual Eccles cake.
