Only a week to go now people! Here are the details:

I'm absolutely gutted to say that I won't be able to come to this one I've spent hours trying to find an affordable way of doing it, but am sad to say I've failed - it would end up costing me approaching ?200 with travel and accomodation and given my complete lack of income I just can't justify it. It would actually cost me considerably more than the Glasgow meet.

I'm sure that everyone who goes will have a wonderful time, so if you are thinking about it and it's feasible for you, then please do attend.

I do hope so Marg, I've been really stressed out about not being able to make it! I'm pretty sure we'll have one in Manchester before too long so hopefully that will be easier (and cheaper!) to get to 🙂

Fiona's just informed me that she wants to come. Oh dear, she's only 11, she'll be bored stiff. Carol has decided she doesn't want to come, as there won't be anyone her age. We'll see. I'm definitely still up for it.

Thanks everyone, I'm still gutted. My main problem was getting reasonably priced accomodation - everywhere wanted at least a 2 night stay to get the decent proced rooms and the ones offering one night cost twice as much - you can't win!

I hope things go well and you all behave yourselves, now you won't have someone to 'moderate' you! 😉 I'll be hacking in to the pub's CCTV to keep an eye on you!

I have a spare Bayer Contour blood tester if anyone coming is interested. There are no strips and no finger pricker though.

Just let me know and I'll bring it with me on Saturday.

I can't go because 1) It's too far away and 2) Tia's has her big Danceshow at the weekend.

I have visited York before in the 1990's, it's a lovely place.

Southampton. Thought I'd got most of it sorted but there are no hotels in York that will let you stay just for one night, plus I've had trouble getting a train to London early enough to get the train and coach up to York! Just ended up working out too expensive for me I'm afraid.

There's the Birmingham Meet on September 17th - I'm hoping to make that 🙂
