Yougurts can be tricky sometimes, i tend to stay clear of them and use natural yougurt and some nice juicy fruit.....If i was to have yougurts id go for activia ones,i react terribly to muller light etc etc so i stay well clear...sometimes just because there low fat you can still be caught out with the sugar content.

Moving this to food section, where there's more discussion of yogurt and other edible matters.

Read the labels of low-fat anything, they have a horrible horrible habit of using something called 'corn starch' to substitute for the fat they take out.

Corn starch = virtually neat carbohydrate!

Hence eg don't touch low fat mayo with a bargepole, stick to the normal kind. Even though I adore it, not even I can eat all that much of it!

I eat low fat bio natural yogurt on my breakfast, the carb content ranges from 4-8g of carbs to 100g of yogurt.

Have you thought of making your own yoghurt? then you will know what is in it. I use an easy yo yoghurt maker but it makes too much yoghurt for me alone, I'm the only one who likes it.

I have Shape Zero. no added sugar no fat. 10.7 per 120g pot. filled with fruit and really tasty.

I too have these! They are really creamy and you cannot taste the difference between these and regular full fat yoghurt. If you want to be a bit more daring you can buy easio yogurt off QVC which arrives in powder form and you make it yourself. They do unsweetened versions of different flavours as well as plain and they taste gorge!! very thick and creamy 🙂

I've discoverd Greek and Turkish yogurts which are so creamy and delicious if you add berries and a tiny trickle of honey. Top with seeds and nuts and makes a delicious breakfast. In my case, a change from eggs.

Don't be put off by the polyfilla appearance of the yogurt though!!!!

Donna 🙂🙂🙂
