Can anyone tell me what is the best yoghurt to eat please. Which has the least sugar. I've been having Weightwatchers low fat but there is alot of sugar content in those.

I make my own these days. I got hold of a Lakeland's yoghurt maker for about £20 and it's great. I can have yoghurt whenever I want and I know there's nowt in it I didn't put there. It's really easy to use as well. Highly recommended.

I second the Lakeland yoghurt maker, but before that I used easiyo yoghurt sachets (available in Julian graves and Holland and Barrett). They do a variety of flavours with the cultures added in, some have sugar added and some are unsweetened so you can either add less sugar, use sweetener or leave them plain. You need this flask contraption which basically just keeps the yoghurt at a higher temperature whilst it brews. My favourite is the low fat Greek, then I add almonds, and a bit of honey. I never really found a good low fat yoghurt commercially that didn't have loads of sugar in it, in fact I'm known for cursing supermarkets for their insistence on only stocking low fat yoghurt that's laced with sugar. I'd rather have the fat and much less sugar (even before I was diagnosed as diabetic).

I buy budget supermarket own brand natural yogurts 500g pots, which cost about 55p each. Does about 6 breakfasts with a bit of cereal, but can also add your own low sugar jam, bit of fruit etc.
Just checked my current pot of Morrissons Savers, which has 5.6g sugar per 100g, all from milk, none added.

My favourites are Danone Greek yogs, but I can never find them in the UK, so I get proper Greek yogs from Tesco. Mmmmmmm🙄 There's no added sugar.

No expert on yogurt. Have some plain Onken Biopot every day and add blackforest fruits and walnuts. Tub says 3.4g sugar per 100g. Has live cultures in it ... one called streptococcus which I thought was a throat lurgy. 🙂

perhaps low fat greek or natural yoghurt? If it's not sweet enough to your taste you could add a little sweetener or a little blob of low sugar jam I find is enough to add some sweetness and flavour without too much sugar.
