I was given a yoghurt maker last xmas for a present (unit with 8 containers). I haven't used it yet but today I bought some Easio yoghurt mix as i'd like to try and make some. My question is, do I have to steralise the containers each time I make some yoghurt?

You can, but there's no real need. Careful washing-up should be enough.

P.S. Have you looked at the carb/sugar levels in Easyo? Some of them are worse than others.
P.P.S. A moneysaving tip: keep back a quarter of a cup from your first batch and use it as the starter culture for your next batch. You can do this half a dozen times before having to restart with a new culture.
