Could someone post a list of attendees please. Had a very stressful journey home, and just want to put screen names to faces. Thanks.

I will private message you a list, then I can mention people's real names.

Let’s see some photos, please, I like to see drunken revelry:D

Sorry, nobody took any, but with the free refill for your coffee system, the most you'd have seen was caffeine fuelled revelry.

No pix! Good grief, why not? I thought it was de rigueur now to take pix of anything and everything. 🙂

What a very very refreshing change to be somewhere that everyone was so interested in everyone else, that they gave the blasted phones a rest!

Years ago I went to a meet arranged by another forum. Even now photos of me at that meet turn up, and I am not a happy bunny. People seem to assume that you don't mind being photographed and have your photo on social media, it is one thing that really infuriates me (Rant over)

I think now people will ask as a common courtesy if they can take someones photo. It's only right really as a number of people don't want their photo displayed on forums etc. The ones I've been to have been a mixture where photos were taken without my permission (I'm not that fussed really but it would be nice to be asked) and anyway that's me over there <<<<<<<<< to being asked if I wanted it taken. I think in future permission to take and show photos should always be sought on these meets.

So maddening, can people not enjoy the occasion without taking photo's and sharing them on social media.

Absolutely agree and one of the things that puts me off meet ups if I’m honest.

In photos I always look like one of those ‘do not approach but ring this number’ photos they used to show on Crimewatch.

No you don't, you look like a retired Dr 😉
In photo's I look like a nightshifter, permanently knackered 😎

I think you look like a fisherman in those photos with your pipe! :D

My neighbour's daughter broke up with her husband and he searched all her friends' facebook photos to try to find out what she was doing - using it as a way to try to get her declared an unfit person to look after the children because she went out in the evenings, accusing her of affairs with any man who happened to be standing anywhere close or sitting at the same table - it had a huge impact and got very nasty. Younger people in particular don't seem to realise just how vulnerable they make themselves and others by their constant posting of pictures.
