Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
Does anyone know if Yanga Sports Water in Gyms are okay to drink. I don't particularly like the taste of ordinary water but I'm worried there might be something in the flavours that are not good for Type 2 diabetics. The blurb says they're sugar free but have "sweetners" and <5kcals. I'm new to Diabetes (and going to a gym!) and wanted something to add a bit of flavour to water but I find just adding fruit pieces doesn't give enough flavour for me and it can be a bit of a faff if I'm in the office.

Any suggestions for safe alternatives would also be most welcome. Thanks

If it’s under 5 cals then it won’t have many carbs. If you don’t like plain water then drink squash?

My go-to is sugar free squash.

But in the gym it was always just plain tap water.
