Being a tad scatty at the mo, I had a vial of humalog 'owing' from thr pharmacy which I collected but then forgot in my car (glovebox) for a few days. We've had a bit of light frost, so it obviously got to around zero degrees & I'm horribly aware that a) this is a whole new flipping vial so I don't want to waste it but b) it might well have (probably?!) reached freezing so technically is not good to use. It looks ok, so I was thinking of filling a reservoir for my pump & giving it a go at the weekend when I don't have to go anywhere (so can cope if it's been trashed). Is that a really bad idea? Anyone else had to use possibly frozen insulin before? (I don't 'have to' but feel awful about wasting it if it might be ok)
Probably over thinking this... 😱
