We are currently conducting research to explore dietary decisions while living with type 2 diabetes. The study aims to improve knowledge in this area, to better support those living with type 2 diabetes in the future. You can help shape this research by completing a short survey.

If you have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, are aged between 18 to 65 years (inclusive) and do not have other special dietary requirements (such as for dietary allergies), then we would like to invite you to take part.

The survey shouldn’t take any longer than ten minutes to complete.

Thank you for your time.

Why the age restriction? At 68 I am too old. Surely not.

Humph!
So at 70 I'd have thought that info on eating would be really useful to those looking after this frail old doddering person?
Note that the sarcasm lever is fully depressed.

Thank you for your comment! Because this is a relatively preliminary study, we are still exploring everything. If you are interested in this study, you can leave your relevant information here, which may become our further research target!

Thanks for your reply! The age group is set in this way because it is considered that people who aged over 65 may be more complicated in terms of diet management. Because this is a relatively new research direction, there may be more comprehensive and complete exploration in the follow-up study. Thanks for your support!

Thanks for your participation!
You are very welcome - it is a particular interest of mine. I have been exploring how to make keto eating fun and easily permanent as a change in order to reverse type 2 diabetes and then maintain it as a fully nutritionally complete way of eating for life. I think the key is to have all the same eating experiences on offer as before diagnosis but with them being very low carbohydrate in order to be able to easily eat a full day's food including treats and still remain below 20g carbs a day.

I have been surprised and happy to find just how achievable it is.

Thank you for sharing! I agree with you so much. Our study is dedicated to exploring how to improve the autonomy of patients by improving the internal control of patients, so that they can still maintain a healthy diet for a long time without human supervision.
