Dunno. I mean you could say every waking moment couldn't you? cos you have to be aware of it 100%, I obviously am not cos I often cook dinner in and out of the kitchen trying to keep track of the news whilst I dish up, come in with the plates, sit down to eat, pick up me knife and fork - and then say, Oh bugger! - I'm diabetic, aren't I?

Not just me then ? :D:D

It's a sign that it's so automatic that you don't even notice it half the time. But something signals that part of the process hasn't yet happened.

As a parent, I not only think about it countless times a day, but bore other people to tears with it too. When I learn new things off this forum I tell my best friend, or anyone else I happen to see, spreading my new knowledge all the time.

The hardest thing I find is biting my tongue around my son. I am still so inclined to say 'have you injected yet?' or 'have you got your kit with you?' type of thing. It drives him insane, but I just can't help it.
