Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
Hi Everyone.
I'm Type 2 and have been for a few years now. This is the first time i've posted on here.
I'm getting a really funny feeling in my stomach and legs, it happens every time i look down. It's like a tightening and tingling sensation. Has anyone else experienced something similar? I'm sure if its diabetes related...
Thanks, Steph

What's your day to day BG, and what is it when you test when you feel funny? Plus, what's your BP when you look down and this happens?

Hi Steph and welcome.

Can you give us a bit more info about your diabetes like....
What was your most recent HbA1c reading and how is your diabetes controlled? ie Have you changed your diet and/or take medication and if so, what? Have you increased your physical activity?
Tingling might be neuropathy due to diabetes. Have you spoken to your GP about it. How well is your diabetes controlled?

If overdue food?

If it only happens when you look down, it’s not diabetic neuropathy. It’s much more likely to be a problem in your cervical spine, or neck to use the technical term.

The answer, as is often the case, is talk to your doctor who will be able to clarify matters.
