Very interesting @Bruce Stephens ! I once had a long discussion with my consultant about T cells and how to remove the Type 1 antibodies 
My youthful ideas would have worked theoretically apparently, but would have been very hard to do and very expensive. Hopefully all these years later, the whole thing would be easier. Of course, there might well be cross-overs with other auto-immune conditions, which would be fabulous! Get rid of the lot of them!
