Working on highways

Welcome to the forum @Billywaines

I have no experience of working on the highways, but know that whatever work we do we will need to be a bit more organised and find out what works for our own circumstance. Have you experienced any specific issues around your work. Any work place should make reasonable adjustments to help you with any issues. I generally found so long as I had a stash of jelly babies with me I was safe.

Welcome to the forum @Billywaines

We’ve had a few members in recent years who have been comparing notes about working on the track / engineering side of things on the railways.

Most things are possible these days, and employers need to make ‘reasonable adjustments’.

Diabetes UK have some information and help on these pages:

You might also want to call the Diabetes UK helpline (number at the top of the page) 9-6 Mon-Fri, who may be able to give you some pointers.
