Wordle - Quordle Thread

I’m sure it’s made up US slang. Fortunately I eventually got all the letters. and was able to sort them out into something, but I didn’t like it!
I was just really annoyed because it cost me a life as there was only one known word it could be at row 3 as far as I was concerned and it really irritated me when it wasn't that but some "made up" word! Grrrh!

Just looked on oed.com - they have first record of it from mid 1700s! Though don't think that excuses them using a word that is so obscure.
 
Bad day but finished them all!
