Wordle - Quordle Thread

Weekly with AFOUL tied me with @littlevoice359 but I reversed the last two, so my score was 4 2 7 6 = 19
 
A near miss for me this morning on Wordle and maybe that made me stop and think a bit more for the other two because I certainly did need to sit and ponder and head scratch quite significantly to get them but ended up with a good result.

Wordle to the wire for 6 .... My first 2 words gave me nothing at all!
Quordle 6 4 3 5 = 18
Octordle for 52

Gives me 76
 
Got lucky with Wordle, did ok in Quordle, but struggled a little with Octordle where a few guesses didn’t go my way. Still, not a bad result overall.

Wordle: 3
Quordle: 7+3+5+4=19
Octordle: 57
Total: 3+19+57=79

Unfortunately you are probably eliminated Mikey because the starter word was AFOUL not ALOUD

No there is currently a 3 way tie on the Weekly Challenge with 19 between yourself, myself and @littlevoice359 but I don't think @saffron15 has posted her Weekly Challenge result yet, despite choosing the word.

Thought I had posted because I thought it was ironic I chose the word and failed to finish!

Weekly afoul start 7,8,X, 4
 
Only just scraped Quordle this morning, had the strange situation of putting down three starter words, and getting a scattering of yellow, but no green letters in the correct place. Managed to guess a couple of correct words from there, but was then stuck, so tried another sacrificial word. Again, yellows, but no green letters in the correct place. Managed to sort out the other answers and scrambled over the line.
Wordle in 3
Quordle in 9,6,8,5 = 28
Octordle in 62
Total 93
 
Well, I did one better and surrendered my scalp to Quordle after a reasonably good start but the final word took my remaining 3 lives and didn't yield success and like you @Robin I used another sacrificial word near the end to try to narrow it down. Even more annoying when I did well on Octordle, so I am really kicking myself!

Pretty dismal result here and lucky to finish at that. What an utterly frustrating set of puzzles.
