Wordle - Quordle Thread

Well, I knew things were going unusually well while doing this morning’s puzzles. But, I was still surprised by the result - a personal best in several respects.

Result: 2+18+44=64

I was still on a roll carrying on from yesterday, until I hit Octordle and anagrammed a couple of what I thought were dead certs half way through!

I started reasonably well, but only just scraped through Octordle with a score for that alone significantly higher than @littlevoice359 's record breaking total! Woohoo! That is an impressive one!

Almost forgot to post. Wordle with 3, then 6, 4, 5, 7 on Quordle for 22, and a 52 on Octordle. Total of 77.

A return to more normal scoring patterns today after yesterday’s aberration.

Result: 3+18+60=81

Return to normal for me too, I failed Quordle after anagramming two words, one of them on the final go.

An Octordle disaster for me but I was lucky not to fail Quordle too.

Quordle 5 8 9 6 = 28
Octordle was a DNF with 5 options left on the remaining word with only 1 life, so only a miracle could save me.

4 on Wordle for me, then 4, 7, 6, 3 for 20 on Quordle. Managed to spot the looming options on Octordle quite early so able to use an elimination word to ensure I completed it and ended with a 60 for a total of 84.

Who's going to choose tomorrow's weekly starter following last week's catastrophic results?

4 on Wordle for me, then 4, 7, 6, 3 for 20 on Quordle. Managed to spot the looming options on Octordle quite early so able to use an elimination word to ensure I completed it and ended with a 60 for a total of 84.

Who's going to choose tomorrow's weekly starter following last week's catastrophic results?

Maybe as we all did so dismally, we should start with something like FAILS.

I am back on line now. My sister brought a new charger and cable, and delivered them (over an hour's drive each way). We couldn't check the old charger and cable as their connection was different The old one was USB and' the new one USB-C. I have quite a collection of cables because of this nonsensel

And so on to Wordle. I thought I had it in third guess but no it was some obscure american word that should be spelt with an "S"! I may try Quordle later but busy catching up after limited phone access for four days. The guy who charged it up for me was allowed a weekend break at home. The bed next to me is still empty (there are quite a few empty beds but I imagine they are prepared for the next disaster

I cannot recall if I posted my result for last week's Weekly Challenge but I also failed. I knew Word 2 quite early but hung myself focusing on Word 1!

Surprisingly early submission by me.i am sure some of the drugs affected my thinking and concentration. Excellent Wordle (for me) and Quordle was flowing nicely till I hit Word 2 where I had only two letters but Guess 8 have me another letter (in fact the placed first letter) and viola!

Weekly with Fails ..needed two shots at every word, but got there in the end. 3,5,7,9 = 24

Tricky day with lots of unrelated options to guess at. I ended up with a 4 on Wordle, 4, 7, 3, 5 for 19 on Quordle, and 64 on Octordle for a total of 87 leaving @saffron15 still in first place.

Weekly was a 8, 4, 6, 7 for 25.
