Wordle - Quordle Thread

Trailing @Rob Oldfield by 2 (2+20+64=86), courtesy of a few slips of my own in Octordle. Lucky I got a good start in the first two puzzles.

Dire today, at least i finished them. I normally plod through the first few goes in a predesigned order, and end up with a middling score, no way am I ever going to get a good score like that, so today I took a couple of gambles early on, on Quordle and Octordle, but they didn’t pay off, and I ended up worse than usual. I think I’ll stick to plodding!

Poor result for me too.

Took Wordle to the wire for 6
Quordle 6 8 5 3 = 22
Octordle for 61 I had to walk away and make another cup of coffee towards the end and thankfully that helped to get me over the line

Gives me a total of 89
 
Had a great start with Wordle, Quordle and Octordle but then took the latter to the wire with 3 options for the middle letter of the last remaining word (word No 3) and 3 lives.... and of course I chose the correct one last 🙄 Still it should be a better score than yesterday...

Octordle for 59 thanks to getting a good start with a 2. Didn't think you could take it to the wire and still get under 60!

Gives me a total of 80
 
Very mixed bag for me today. Went from poor to phenomenal to skin of teeth!

Pretty decent result here (4+17+53=74), especially considering I started off poorly with Wordle.

My luck and brain power ran out on Octordle after I used the former up on Wordle and the latter on Quordle...

Wordle for 6..... Playing hard mode definitely made this require luck.
Quordle 7 5 4 6 =22 and needed a lot of hard thinking to get there.
Octordle was a DNF with 2 Xs!! I had 3 words left and 3 lives and I had several options but also made a stupid mistake.

I wonder what @Robin thinks about HORSE for the weekly challenge since it is what we have in common?
