Wordle - Quordle Thread

Long day for me today as we have managed to get my brother out of hospital and back into his home but not sure he is going to cope. Thankfully we have found a carer who literally lives across the road and seems absolutely lovely but it looks like he is going to be resistant to having care even though he desperately need it. Hoping he will get used to the idea in time. Would be easier if he was on the doorstep but he isn't.
Anyway, I started Wordle before bed this morning and after 3 lines and only one letter I was well and truly stuck. Fared rather poorly at the other two but scraped through. Just had another go at Wordle and had to sacrifice a life after spending another 20 mins on it and getting nowhere. Anyway....

Wordle in 5
Quordle 9 5 4 7 = 25
Ocotrdle for 66

Gives me 96 I think but after today's events, I could very easily have got that wrong. It hasn't helped that I have spent the day hypo or fending them off, when the last few days I have been like a human pin cushion due to all the corrections I have needed. Today was not the day I needed a visit from the diabetes fairy!
Got a very busy weekend ahead with the Horses at Work weekend at Beamish Museum so may be absent.

Quordle had me stumped for a bit, but after a coffee break I had some inspiration. Reasonable luck on the other two puzzles. For example a word in Octordle, that I would rarely use, recently came up in a cryptic crossword I did.

Result: 4+22+50=76

Looks like it will be wet here today so I am going to delve into the world of Android app development. Will be interesting to see how much progress I make…

Got there at last! Usual mediocrity on the first two, then went through Octordle like a dose of salts…until I got to the last word, and it’s taken me ages to think of anything to fit! Got there in the end, like @littlevoice359 , I only got it because I’ve come across it recently in another puzzle, possibly one of the alternative Quordles I sometimes do.
Wordle in 4
Quordle in 4,8,5,6 = 23
Octordle in 52
Total 79

haven't played for ages - this post inspired me :D anyone played blossom?
I hadn't heard of that word puzzle so I looked it up and gave it a try. I misunderstood the rules initially and thought I could't repeat letters. So, I didn't do as well as I might have done. Ended up with 325 points, which is not too bad, I guess.

Now that I have a better idea of how to go about it, I hope to do better next time around.

:Dyou are not alone there - it took a little while for me for that penny to drop

Pretty good for me. 3 on Wordle, 6, 3, 4, 7 for 20 on Quordle, and an Octordle 52. Total of 75.
You are one of a small group who never seem to have disaster games eg not finishing and with scores I'd yell "wow" at yet
you underplay. I must treat it as something I can aspire to. My best so far is a 2 on wordle ( not today)

Modest result this morning, thanks to confusing (American) word in Quordle and a slow start in Octordle.

Result: 4+20+60=84
