Just got a call from my dsn to arrange an appointment to discuss pumps!!! The hospital pump clinic has given the nod, and only the step of funding, but she says no-one has ever been refused if the pump folks say yes.

Beyond excited😱😱

Couple of weeks to the appointment, so will need to research pumps as I've to choose one that I like - how can you tell when I've never even seen one before?

Off to the Pumping section now:D

Get yourself a copy of 'Pumping Insulin' by Walsh/Roberts - the first 11-12 chapters are great to read before you get started 🙂

Was it a new edition? I've only seen 'used' ones for ?14+ :confused:

Yeah it's the new edition & it was brand new, but I kept checking back for a cheap one until I got one.

Ill let you know about the pump, I got a DVD to watch about my pump (I could lend you it if you wanted that pump?)
