Morning ! Just wanted to share with you my latest discovery - linseed. I may be late to the game on this and you've all been eating shedloads already. The milled stuff and the whole stuff. Full of fibre so slows down the breakfast cereal spike , nutrients and actually tasty. I put the whole seeds on loads of things like peanut butter, scrambled egg, salads and sauces. There limitless ways to freak my husband out by putting things that look like headlice in everything . Have a good day.

Yes, I particularly like linseed on my breakfast cereal. I usually mix them with a few other seeds and sprinkle over my granola. I haven’t particularly noticed a reduction in my spike but I pre-bolus so don’t really get a big spike anyway. I like the golden linseed.

It was you saying 'something a while ago along the lines of 'enjoy your cereal' that made me think of variations, @Inka

I use flaxseed to make savoury biscuits and almond soda bread. Both recipes work well and are from Tom Kerridge's "Dopamine Diet" book. The only problem is the wife who keeps pinching the crackers as she loves them!

Aldi do a milled linseed that has sesame blueberry and raspberry in it. I use it when I make granola.
