Plus the tabloids are doing their bit to encourage her. Surely someone is geting the food to her (I haven't read the story) so why do they not just refuse ?

If she dies, would they be charged with conspiracy to murder or something similar ?

It's such a sad story...she must be in some kind of denial, but seems quite happy to abrogate her parental responsibilities to her sister in case she 'gets ill'... has she asked her kids which they'd prefer? Their mum, or a photo with a world record certificate on the mantle piece? I'm just gobsmacked that any doc would not have put it to her in very blunt terms already that she was already well & truly in what she calls the 'danger zone'. Whatever doc she's using must have a very flexible conscience to be supporting her in this self destructive course. All very, very sad.

Couldn't agree more Steff but mental illness can be extremely difficult to spot and diagnose, unless the person admits there's a problem in the first place then it's difficult for medical professionals to intervene, lets not forget that this lady also lives in the USA.
