Very confused. Can someone point me in the right direction for a good nut butter for type 2 diabetes, as I love Peanut butter so would like to incorporate in my breakfast sometimes.
I think the more important question may be....."What are you going to put the peanut butter in or on?" as that may be more of a dietary Type 2 diabetes issue...

I like the whole earth ones too.

I have tried to avoid palm oil, but often seem to end up with ‘nut butter soup‘ for some reason, where the oil separates out of the butter and it gets very gloopy.
Store it in the fridge - take it out a little in advance and give it a good stir.

That’s my fav (I like the oil - they suggest you mix the oil in when you first open it). Stick it in an envelope and send it to me - without the jar of course. 😉
Just thinking of the mess that would make!

Meridian was the first one I tried, sadly I thought it was awful, tgrew it away and switched to Whole Earth, huge difference, love it!

Did mix it Bloden like it says on jar, maybe use to standard peanut butter I don't know.

But a delicious mess!😛
Our biggest mess was when a bottle of being made sloe gin that exploded in the fridge, everything was covered in broken glass and sticky red liquid and I do mean everything. It looked like a bloodbath.

Yeah, I thought you would’ve. :D How’s your wrist LOL? It’s like cement!

The good thing about peanut butters is that they are low in carbs and high in protein, but we constantly have to remind ourselves they are high in fat and calories. I love it so have to limit myself, I’m sure others feel the same.
Meridian is lower than Sunpat and Whole Earth, but only marginally. I choose my preference of Whole Earth.

As my uncle used to say “fill your boots”

I took to peanut butter when I was losing my initial weight to try and knock my type 2 into remission. I tried a few different brands and settled on the Whole Earth as my fav and merrily noshed it until I discovered how to make it from scratch using blanched peanuts. 6 minutes in the Air fryer and 15mins in a food processor and the result is a lot lot better than shop bought and has no additives at all. Yum.
