Where to get help?

Hi Lizzie - sorry my first attempts at suggestions weren't much good, but it's much easier when you give us a bit more to go on. I reckon the South Bank / Bankside is one of the most interesting places in any city to walk - last year I had to get from Potters Field near Tower Bridge to Millenium Bridge, so I allowed a bit extra time and walked, looking at and photographing The Scoop, HMS Belfast, Southwark Cathedral, Golden Hinde, buskers under Southwark Bridge, Winchester Palace ruins, Globe Theatre, Tate Modern in Bankside power station - enough to keep you walking to the next point, I reckon. But, I find the best walks are when I take a map and wander, so hope that works for you. With or without a companion.
