I need to buy some Tee2 test strips. Does anyone know where the cheapest ones can be purchased.

Just been looking and the cheapest I have found was £10 which seems a lot for just 50 strips.

My GP is only prescribing 1 set per month, but that only lasts me 2 weeks on average.

Is it time to change meters? If so which has the cheapest test strips?

You won''t find find a meter that takes strips much cheaper than that, it is one of the cheapest ones. Some can cost around £25.

As grovesy says you really aren't going to find much cheaper, to be honest I suspect your GP may end up stopping your prescription for strips with your success, change in diagnosis and I believe you are no longer on medication now so your quite lucky to even be getting prescribed 1 pot a month xx

That doesn't seem bad for that monitor, Amazon is £12 for 50. sometimes it comes down to the delivery cost as well.

I am surprised that the price has increased to £10 or £12 for the Tee2 test strips but maybe it is a good time to cut back on your testing a bit now. Most Type 2s in remission I believe only test intermittently or when they eat something that is new and they don't know how they will respond. You have great control so testing more than once a day should really not be necessary any more. If things start to change you will spot it in your fasting readings soon enough.
