When do you eat?

I'm a creature of habit. Monday to Friday my meals have to fit around work, the only variation is in my evening meal which only tends to go about an hour and a half either way. Weekends are a very different story and totally unpredictable!
Snap! 🙂

I am quite rigid with mealtimes but only because I have to watch for insulin crossover. I'm a sensitive flower so any cross over and I'm done for. I don't eat between meals either and there's around 6 hours between each meal so my tummy is ready for food by that point. I get quite irritated by it though because pre diabetes I was a grazer and I'd much prefer to graze now. I don't skip meals because I get hungry, and I'm awful at eating big meals which is why I used to graze, I really don't like feeling stuffed. To be fair though I'm a funny creature with food, I violently dislike feeling hungry, and violently dislike over eating so regular eating is the only option.

In the old days when I was on mixed insulin I had to eat at fixed times. Since MDI, and especially now on the pump, I eat what and when I like.
