Wheelchair Tennis

I haven't watched wheelchair tennis but I enjoyed watching wheelchair basketball. It's such a fast paced game and there are some impressive looking pecs on show.

Caught a bit of the singles the other day - Alfie Hewitt was amazing!

It's gone to a third set after Alfie won the first set 3 - 6 but lost the second 7 - 5 . I think he is running out of steam as he is trailing 5 - 1. Come on Alfie!

Sadly Alfie lost the singles as jr did the wheelchair doubles the other day.. Fingers crossed he comes back and wins next year. He is in his late twenties and old father time and injury seems to catch up with players around 30!

I know very little about either player this evening so I will say ,"Come on Jannik!" ,to even up forum support!

In all fairness, when push came to shove, Jannik beat Carlos fair and square, because he'd studied what he needed to do in order to beat him - and successfully put that learning into practice.
