whats your likes/dislikes in food

Now. DH and I don't like the Stornoway one, and I dont like the ones with big bits of fat. Usually buy a whole one when we are in Scotland, but Costco do one and it's ok. Had venison and black pudding sausages this week from Lidl, very nice.
Don't like cold soup, slimy foods, aubergine on its own but will eat it in moussaka, like most fish, prawns and scampi but not oysters and the like. Cheese, yes but not Stinking Bishop. Memories of buying some in Bath and driving back to Berkshire with it in the boot, not a long drive BUT the smell. Most veg but not okra, would love rice pudding especially the skin but not now. As for cold curry for breakfast, I'm with you there.

Hmmm. There''s what I like and dislike and what I eat and don't eat.
For ethical reasons, I stopped eating meat over 30 years ago. It wasn't a case of like or dislike but I haven't missed it. So, although my reasons for giving it up are not as prominent I won't eat it now
I do eat fish and enjoy anything from a "fishy fish" like mackerel to "basic fish" like cod and chips as well as most seafood like prawns and mussels.
I learned to debone fish at a young age (I think fish used to be cheap so we ate whole fish most weeks) so the bones are never an issue.

I was bought up to eat everything on my plate and sit at the table until it was all gone. So there is little I won't eat. But I prefer Mediterranean veg (peppers, tomatoes, aubergine, courgettes, ...) to standard British root crops (especially swede and turnips). I eat a lot of veg and love to experiment with herbs and spices from around the world.
I enjoy desserts although they are a novelty nowadays. Gone are the childhood days of Angels Delight twice a week.

The only real dislikes I can think of are anything too greasy or anything with coffee in.
