Whats on the menu for Christmas and New Year

I've just heard reports that we will be having a couple of roast potatoes with our dinner. Actually, they don't seem to affect me too much.
 
My OH has also insisted that we purchase a prawn ring for christmas day as a starter.

I found those prawn rings a bit tasteless to be honest Stitch. Needed a nice dip because the king prawns in it were decidedly bland!

I have memories of them being bland too. I might pop along to Borough market (10 mins walk from my office) and get some nice fresh king prawns from there and make a nice dipping sauce to go with them.

Oh you have got my mouth watering. Never bought a prawn ring but do love prawns.

Just remembered that we have some Smoked Salmon for appetizer, guess I'll have to brave the store:( for some capers & cream cheese:D Though not sure what to put them on...... Oh found half a loaf of bread in the freezer left over from Thanksgiving.
