What Would You Have Done?

I used to seesaw between HI and LO a couple of times a day 5 days a week. I cured that firstly by stopping taking the statins that were causing me to forget things at work and hence getting into trouble for not doing them - but mostly by waving my employers goodbye and not trying to find any others. Funnily enough the BG started to even out - and anyway it was still sensible two days a week even then.

Eep, yes I can see why that would happen - sounds like you made the right decisons there. Stress has a big effect on my bgl as well, but only to high teens level and only temporarily. The weather has a bigger effect, I have to alter all my doses whenever it changes. Which is to say, about twice a week at the moment 🙄

I would have done it all reverse, you shouldnt post a woman taking her cloths of cause its hot now i need (a) loll

Don't know how low I've been - I've had a LO, and also an episode when I was obviously semi-conscious for an hour or two and R didn't realise it was the diabetes so didn't test until my bgl was coming up again (thanks again to my liver 😱). In his defence, he thought it was the ME and he should just let me rest - hopefully he will know better another time!

I've never been higher than about 21 though, and that was when I ate my dinner and forgot to inject 🙄

I have had really high sugars. Much higher than 21. The most recent was a few months ago. I changed my pump canula and stuff but hadn't noticed it hadn't primed. Went out of gluten free cream tea (with jam) and gave myself insulin except I was just giving myself air. That was a bad one.

I've been so low that the guy who I was living with had to call a paramedic. That was scary for him. I briefly remember waking up and trying to get the lucosade near by bed but my arms wouldn't work properly and I knocked it across the room. The next thing I remember was waking up to the paramedics. Apparently I fell out of bed and that's what woke him.
