What to do with unused strips?

Thanks for the replies everyone. I wasn't saying that I would never use a test strip ever again, that would be pretty naive I think - I don't leave the house without a supply and associated paraphernalia.

But the question on what to do with a surplus remains. I know unused medicines should be returned to a chemist - but I wouldn't like an undercurrent of 'see, diabetics don't need to test anyway' if I did. Or is that just paranoia?!

I don't think they take test strips back.

Well, just use em gradually is all, I concur with @JJay - no way could I rely on it to make bolus or correction calculations either.
