This is a fairly minor issue in the big scheme of things but it's starting to worry me nevertheless;
A few weeks ago I had a meds review with the doctor and he quite unexpectedly said he would halve the Metformin dose I'd need to take as my HbA1c was pretty good at 5.8 and he was concerned I might get hypos, something which never really happens to me i don't think.
I've never had a BG reading below 5 and when he measured it at the time it was 5.6, unusually low for the time of day.
Problem is my readings are starting to creep up from average of around 7 to 8's, 9's and 10's with no change of diet (which is pretty good normally).
What worries me is my background retinopathy might get worse in the mean time, but bizarrely my eyesight seems to have improved
Should I go back to the docs and get the meds put back up?
