Can someone give us advise with medical background
As really feel lost as people with T2 and eating lots of different things such as Mayo , dressing , muffins which I don’t know if these good or bad for T2 ?

I’ve split your post into a new thread so that you get more responses.

Members on the forum don’t have any medical training, so they can’t give definitive advice, only share their own experiences and information/hints they have picked up from their HCPs and elsewhere.

Most people newly diagnosed who join the forum spend time working out an individual eating plan based on their own tastes, requirements, and more often than not the results of BG checks before and 1-2hours after eating.

There is no ‘one size fits all’ approach. Some find moderate carb, low fat works well for them, others choose a low carb or very low carb / ketogenic approach - often increasing fats to maintain weight.

You should discuss things with your diabetes nurse, and have a read around to decide which approach works best for you.
 
Often those with a medical back ground are going on about cholesterol levels and the Eatwell plate -
There a quite a few type twos who are back in the normal ranges for blood glucose and hba1c as they go against medical advice, obtain a mail order glucose meter, as set of kitchen scales and reduce their carbohydrate intake meal by meal to see what they can do for themselves.
There was Dr Atkins, of course....
 
I'd suggest having a read of Maggie Davey's letter, which provides a very helpful overview. It's advice that has stood the test of time for around 20 years now and has helped countless people understand what this whole business is about and how to approach getting things under good control 🙂 There are lots of other good sources of information in our 'Useful Links' thread, so do have a browse and feel free to ask any questions that arise 🙂

Despite the widespread message that there is a simple solution that can be applied to everyone it is unfortunately not the case. Finding your own individual tolerances for different food choices is the key to tailoring your diet to successfully manage your blood sugars well 🙂
 
Eat whatever you want but with moderation.
But get a meter and check your Blood glucose levels as even a moderate amount of some foods can send glucose levels soaring if you happen to be sensitive.
I can't eat legumes, even though they are supposed to be 'safe'. Some people can eat oats, I can't.
