I stopped drinking cans of coke completely. Haven't touched one since November 2016. I used to drink about 3-4 a day if not more.
A month in I stopped sugar in my coffee
Another month in I stopped the sweeteners and had cream instead of milk too
It took a bit longer with the bread but not the rice and pasta.

Was going to say my life LOL.
seriously though like you coca cola ain't touched my lips since diagnosis despite one time a bar tender trying to give me one but he soon got that back .
Surprisingly I gave up green top milk and started using red top about 11 month ago to.not sure it benefits me but I like it

Apart from the obvious (sugary stuff). Biscuits. I can't have just one or two, so stopped them completely!

I did cut out too much at first, that I could not maintain. I now have reduced carbs and portions. I find I can maintain this most of the time.

Hmmm I gave up full sugar juice straight away and cut sugar out of my coffee 1 day after but haven't really given anything else up x

Easy one, though it took a while to refine my diet..

Bread, Pasta, Rice, Cereals & starchy vegetables

But honestly, they may sometimes make it back into my diet on occasion, particularly if we go to a friends for dinner.

I forgot another one cos I can't just have one either is tunnock tea cakes they are so morish and I can eat a box of 6 easily 😱

I was like that with trios I was pleased they took them out of circulation but now I see there back 🙄

Oooooh....used to love a Trio. Can even sing the advert tune still from my childhood!

Fruit juices, really miss mango juice, also strawberry laces!

The only thing I actually gave up was the half tsp of sugar I had in tea having already packed it up in coffee years previously.

Though I never felt quite the same about Caramacs as just before diagnosis I was chuffing two a day! Oh - and gave up drinking whole pints of water without coming up for air, to try and quench my thirst LOL However, None of them apart from the first two cups of tea - and that day I'd still have drunk anything liquid so it didn't really impact until the following afternoon, when I really ENJOYED my cuppa - and was gobsmacked at how much more thirst quenching it seemed without the sugar. Must have been bats not to do it before really.

Any hope of working in Antarctica, professional SCUBA diving, outdoor activity instructing, further armed service etc. Pretty devastating for a 30 year with a recent BSc Marine Biology.

Only have one sugar in my latte instead of two, one lump of ice in my Laphroaig instead of two and a Snickers

Apart from the obvious sugar white bread rice ... Pastry products such as Cornish pasties which I lurve ..and miss x lol

Afternoon tea, I used to love making sandwiches and scones and a pot of tea to drink out of china cups with milk in it. And I've given up baking too, because its no fun without the white stuff.

Ooh Tunnocks tea cakes, i could also eat all 6, Dolly.

Jaffa cakes, I'm generally an "all things in moderation kind of a gal" but those things are like biscuit crack (or are they a cake 🙂) I just can't stop them leaping into my mouth. I can't have just one or even two, so I now just look away when I pass them in the shopping aisle, like a divorced couple we just ignore each other and move on, but there's always a little sad sulk as I pass. Strictly speaking I've also given up my annual bag of jelly babies, they only appeared once a year at Christmas, and I'd nibble on them throughout the festivities, I say strictly because I still nibble on them throughout the festivities but now they're medicinal it's just not the same 😉.
