Well today is my first D Anniversary and what a difference a year makes. I have managed to lower levels by diet and exercise (but still away to go) mornings still around 7 ish and evenings around 5 ish. Blood pressure is now normal, cholesterol is now lower managed by 20mg of simvastatin. A year ago I had fungal toenail infection and was put on tablets after getting my feet checked my nails are nearly normal only a couple more months left before they will be completely normal. I now try to go to the gym a couple of times a week and actually enjoy it.

I feel and look much better but would still like to loose another 2 stones before my daughter gets married next June.

I discovered this wonderful forum the day I got diagnosef and would like to thank you all for your help and support I couldn't have done this without you Diabetes would be one lonely place without you. 🙂
