you can buy a pack of 2 hard boiled eggs at Asda, shocking at £1 😱 you can buy a box of eggs much the same haha 🙂 x

They want 89p for 6 eggs, how can they ask £1 for 2 boiled haha x

I mean if they are in a bowl of prepared salad fair enough, but I don't know anyone who would go to the shop to specifically buy boiled eggs lol x

I'm guessing someone does because they sell them but who on earth does that i'm not sure lol

As it says on the tin ........ convenience. 😎

I'm going to be in Asda tonight, I'm going to see if they have them and see what they look like, obviously I'm not going to buy them but I'm interested to see what they look like, I imagine they will look rank haha x

Last time I was in London, we stopped for lunch at a Pret a Manger. I noticed they had a range of low carb stuff, including a plastic bowl containing two hard boiled eggs and some greenery. Seemed expensive for what it was, but if you're going for convenience on the hoof and don't want a full carb load, it might be useful.( I went for the carb load, we did walk miles that day)

They have to take in the costs involved in getting them from egg to hard boiled egg. As cooking is involved then VAT has to be added and then the time and effort by the persons involved.

I wouldn't buy hard boiled eggs, but I assume they would be welcomed by people aiming for a lower carbohydrate snack.

I do agree with you are out and about and fancy them then they will be handy. I just hope people aren't buying them and taking them home because i just thinks that's a waste 🙂

M&S do a pack that has two hard boiled eggs and some spinach. Called a protein pack, alternative to sandwiches I suppose.

That sounds similar to the Pret a Manger one, come to think of it, the green bits did look like spinach.

That's cheap for eggs Kaylz. Mine are £1.50 @ 6 but they're free-range jumbos which I get from the farm stall. Always much deeper yolk 🙂

You can get eggs as part of the salad tray in Morrisons but I wouldn't pay that for 2.

We get ours eggs from the local corner shop, free range from the farm out the top of the town, they are about £1.30 for 6, there's also a vending machine near the farm where you can get them, I think its cool lol, we used to get 6 for £1 from a guy that had his own hens but he sold them on at the start of the year when you were having to keep them inside, shame as they were really good and got a good few double yolkers 🙂 x

I love eggs, sadly the lady I used to buy my eggs from has passed away recently, so I have to get them from supermarket :(

I bet those pre prepared ones taste gross 😱
