Hi Everyone
I thought I would come on and give you all an update and say thank you to everyone.
So I was diagnosed at Christmas with T2 levels relatively low at 58/55. I was give 3 months to see if i can reduce the levels myself with out medication, I then adopted a low cab/calorie diet and started my new life style journey. So lets move on 3 months i am down 3.5stone and have just come back from my DN appointment and all my levels have reduced so much so that they have changed my status to T2 in remission 🙂 i cant actually believe that i have brought my HBA1C level down to 38. I am going to be closely monitor and will need to be tested again in 3 months. But i have to say i feel amazing and i am loving my new life style. I still have a long way to go with my weight loss but every single ounce counts. And i just want to say a massive thank you to everyone that has given me advice along the way. With out this group i would have been so lost with where to start and what to do.
Anyone starting out on your diabetic journey just know its not all scary, it is at first, but embrace it and make the most out being in control and not letting it control you.
Michele xx
