Can this be true !!! Chocolate eclairs are ok? Why did I not know this. As it’s Friday I may give it a go, beats my sugar fee jelly… I’m starting to wobble

Chocolate eclairs are often around 10g of carbs, and the fresh cream makes them much more satisfying than, say, a plain digestive, plus the fat in the cream will slow down the absorption of the sugars in the chocolatey topping. Win win!

I would need to bolus for them more often than not, but some folks get away with 10g snacks without.

I have an incredibly sweet tooth so I’ve not allowed my diagnosis to stop me from indulging 🙂

On fixed units so it’s hit and miss when it comes to blood sugar levels but we’ve been generally ok, hoping that I can be more in control once I learn to adjust doses

Essentially it’s all about control
