I’m desperate now to lose weight, I lost 4 stone since diagnosis but recently it stopped I can’t shift anything.... now recently I’ve had the need to buy senokot for obvious reasons.... and have lost 3lb this week which I so pleased with... I’m very tempted too keep taking them for a few weeks, i no it’s probably a silly idea but if I keep fluids up I shouldn’t get dehydrated! Also starting a carb free diet on Monday so need some meal ideas, I’m struggling as I don’t like many foods

I guess that as you posted this you know it’s not the best weight loss idea right? Walking, plenty of it and often as you like, nice and steady on the food, and plenty of walking. You look to have done so so well so far, Don’t lose heart, you can do it.

Hi. You don't need to be carb free but just keep them down. Have enough protein and fats to keep you feeling full and the weight should gradually fade with a bit of luck thrown in.

Please don’t keep going with the Senokot. You’ll get into awful problems with potassium and magnesium levels. Just use if you get bunged up, them stop them. I agree with all the above - low carb, fill up on protein and fats to slow absorption, and exercise. Walking is fine without resorting to Lycra.

Well done on the effort so far🙂
