The constipation issue confused me at first.. eating cauliflower, broccoli, sweet potato etc etc.,you would imagine it would be the last thing to worry about, but I realised that having lost the insane diabetic thirst, I was hardly drinking anything. Change of diet often changes "habit" as well and after a while things returned to a comfortable regularity without the need for laxatives. Avocado is full of fibre so may help too.
I am not sure where it sits in GI terms but if in need of help Dragon Fruit seems to be a very effective natural laxative, and in trying to find its GI value I also read that "some say" it can help diabetics control BG levels... quite expensive but no worse than supplies of Senakot etc...
Are you sure that you feel cold... in the sense that as opposed to simply not feeling too hot you are just aware of being cooler, I know that I get much less hot and bothered having lost some weight and actually enjoy the sensation of feeling the cooler days and being able to wrap up warm without getting hot and bothered...
