At last I weigh 49.5 kg. A gain of 5 kg since consulting an online dietician. Simple drink recipes and nuts.
Raising carbs and cals next, to reach 55kg . A dress was worn for the 1st time in 3 yrs last wkend
An unusual type 2 with a loss of 20kg in1yr. 1 stone of which lost b4 diagnosis
Weight staying around 50kg Id like to be more but better than 44kg. I used a private dietician online who is also NHS too. She devised milk, milkpowder or thick yogurt, milk plus some fruits to boost the weight. I also used small quantities of HUEL plus milk. Huel is meal replacement but used as an addition.
Thank you I havent posted recently.
My dietician sent a support letter for PIP appeal. My original form tried to convey how difficult simple meal prep is - I have a thumb injury but also a simple meal needs thought and planning- eg not beans on toast.
HbA1c readings higher than norm 57. I need to gain weight . Preparing for meals however simple isnt easy. I learnt a lot in the dieticians letter i didnt know before
My orignal application failed , whether my appeal with letters will succeeed on several counts .

Hello @Jenny105, congratulations on the weight gain. I also lost a lot of weight due to diabetes. Since I was diagnosed I have managed to stabilise my weight but would be happier a few kilos heavier. Your experience gives me hope I can reach my weight goals too. Not much help from doctors or diabetes nurse. They are just bemused that I have diabetes and not overweight.
