Weekend in hospital

Thanks for all the good wishes, folks. I reckon by the weekend should feel a bit more normal, I'm suffering acute Venlafaxine withdrawal symptoms at the moment due to a pharmacy **** up. The intermittent confusion and disorientation, whilst entertaining, should stop when I get my fix. If it's not one thing...

Good job I'm not a Buddhist, I'd be wondering what i did in a previous life. Still, should be better next time around🙂

Get well soon.

ONly just catching up with this thread, sorry to hear about your hospital stay, hope you are starting to feel better now.

Sorry @mikeyB caught up with this this morning, glad you are feeling better now hope everything turns out ok for you including your famous football team.🙂

Hope you’re back to your usual self ASAP @mikeyB.🙂

Only just seen this thread, but sorry to hear what happened to you, Mike - sounds miserable. I had noticed you'd gone quiet on here and was wondering where you'd got to. Glad you are back home, and hope you are fully recovered soon.

Sorry to hear you’ve had a rough time of it. Hope you are taking it easy now.

I’m getting back to normal. Not well enough to go the Rovers today, but mentally back to my usual chirpy grumpiness. My next trip out is Election Day - to the Walton Centre in Liverpool for a potential neurological diagnosis. And, possibly, a prognosis, because I need to know whether to cash in all my Totally Wicked bonus points.😉

Christmas could be interesting, mind. Granddaughter is booked to appear on Christmas Eve, an elective CS (because of a previous emergency CS), unless nature intervenes to bring the event forward. Current estimated weight is 8lbs 8oz, so if they don’t act soon they’ll need a JCB to lift her out.

I’ll keep in touch. Get Pregnancy Done is the current family mantra🙂

Our granddaughter has just had her second child who like the first one was in no hurry to make a debut so she had a sweep last Monday and nowt happened then we had the news that Fabian (no idea where they got that name from) had popped out no prob yesterday morning at 9am ish, 8lbs 1oz. Not even a stitch.

His older sister always scanned as small and she was about 7.5lbs and was in no hurry to leave the comfort either and again several attempts had to be made to start labour but once it had it wasn't ever that bad and once she got to the last bit only took 20 minutes to appear - grandma had to slap dad, who'd dropped off, in order to meet her when she arrived. LOL

Not much drama really since the first GC whose mum needed an emergency C section followed by two electives and had her tubes tied at the same time with the third. They don't like doing the latter one little bit and I've never fathomed why.

Hopefully it will be a male surgeon Mike - they're stronger and have bigger hands than a lot of women! LOL

Sorry to hear about your rough time Mike
