Are there any members planning to stop smoking tomorrow? It's the best thing you could do for your health, especially if you have diabetes 🙂

Good luck to everyone wanting to stop 🙂

good luck to everyone who gives it atry and packs up

I need it :( lol

How are you doing it? Cold turkey, or patches/gum etc.? Best to go cold turkey I think. Nicotene stays in your system for about 3 weeks, once you are over that withdrawal then it's just down to breaking the habit and avoiding places/people where you might be tempted to smke. Patches and gum just keep you addicted, so for me it's better to do the tough stuff - breaking the addiction - whilst you are still full of determination 🙂

Yeah il go cold turkey , I just smoke when bored to kill time but maybe I Gould do something like take dog out more often , so wanna stop it dirty habit I spend so much a week

Think of the money you'll save and as each day goes by just how much healthier you'll be getting. Well worth the effort of giving up :D:D

Lots of people do give up smoking and stay given up. Smoking is very addictive so it is hard.

When i saw my DSN she asked me if i smoked, i said no but i pan to "Why would you want to do that" she asked. I pointed to a poster on the wall, it showed all the health benifits of giving up smoking, i said i havn't got them now, so if i start and give up, i may get them.
