Not my favourite procedure:(

I'm having another in September, but first since starting Libre.

Anyone know if there are any issues with wearing sensor during the procedure?
I know it must be removed for some, such as MRI.

Thanks.

There weren’t any special restrictions about metal etc during mine, it’s just a camera on a long tube really. I did get to watch my rectum and the inside of my colon on a big screen though which was both weird and fascinating.

Thanks, @Lucyr, that was what I was thinking. Think I'll wear it and remove if required.

I take my glasses off, the onscreen show reminds me of the first Alien movie.

I didnt need glasses when I had mine but do now. I’d take them off too as you have to lie on your left side and wouldn’t want them to be squished. Guess that means if I have another I won’t see much detail! The heart operation I had and watched on a whole wall of screens was more interesting than my colon to be fair!

I’ve had more colonoscopies than most folk, but I’ve never removed my sensor. I always ask for sedation so I can never remember what goes on, though I can still respond to instructions.

If anybody asks what the sensor is, I just tell them I’m an Android and that’s my charge up point.
