hi everyone...... yes it is me.... I'm still here 🙂

been off the forum coz been in and out of hospital for non-enjoyable stays and for tests. I had my gallbladder operation in October but still experiencing the pain that I was told was a diseased gallbladder..... so the docs are in the process of trying to discover what it is. also diabetes has taken a turn for the worse. and......... I have a chest problem.

so far during the space of a year I have been in hospital via emergency ambulance 3 times..... and had my gallbladder removed (so another stay in hospital)..... had 2 MRI scans..... a CT scan..... an ultrasound scan........ had an endoscopy and 2 different biopsys (or is that biopsies?)........ I've had retinal screening which showed an abnormality..........I've had more blood tests than I care to remember (have I any blood left?) and this week I've had a chest xray.

due to get results of the 2nd biopsy and chest xray in next fortnight (first biopsy came back ok)........... and my HbA1c results on Thursday

all in all this vehicle I've been given is in a bit of a mess at the moment.... but hopefully it will carry on functioning into old age LOL

oh yes and since my operation in October I've put on a stone!!!

well.... that is my update 😱....... hope everyone else is ok.
hopefully I'll catch up soon
xXx

Oh macast, what a time you've had! So lovely to hear from you, but VERY sorry to hear about all that you have been through. I do hope things get sorted out soon so that you can find some peace and good health at last 🙂

Don't know whether you are up to it, but we have a meet in York on July 7th, I know you were hoping to attend in the past and it would be great to see you there.

Bug {{{{HUGS}}}} my friend, do let us know how things go 🙂

Nice to hear from you macast!

Thanks for the update and sorry to hear about what you 've been going though :(

Nice to hear from you macast,
hopefully things will now improve no end for you.

Sorry to hear that you have been through so much. Hope that the Drs manage to give you a diagnosis and have you on the way to recovery. With all the stress you have been under its quite understandable that your diabetes has been suffering.

I hope that you start to feel better soon.

Good to hear from you again and hope that all will be on the up from now on. (((HUGS)))
