For the last couple of days, my prick testing numbers have been slightly higher at 6.1 as opposed to 5.4 / 4.9 etc. I looked at what foods I had been having when my numbers were lower and there was no change and the same with exercise. Then I thought of water and realised that although I’d not been particularly thirsty, I hadn’t been drinking that much water. So, is having enough fluids, especially water, likely to help bring down bg numbers? Is it a case of being well hydrated equals “dilution” of sugars in the blood?
