That time of year suffering with colds Oranges used to be a great source of Vitamin C but are out of bounds now.
Where else could I get my Vitamin C from which is healthy and safe for a type 2.
Also flu jab hasn’t made much difference in fact it seems to have made things worse never had so many flu symptoms

There is plenty of vitamin C in many vegetables. Peppers are particularly good, best eaten raw with a nice dip, and yellow ones are slightly higher in Vit C than red ones. Kale is also good. I have seen a recipe for roasting it with some spices until its crispy and then using it as a snack. Broccoli is also good, and all of these veggies can make good soups.
Quite seasonal, Brussel sprouts, are another good source (not for me though, although I like most veggies now, not this one!)
Berries are also good, but a bit higher in carbs so need to be used in moderation. I have a handful of blueberries on my breakfast creation and that doesn't seem to cause me any problems.
So plenty of options away from the oranges. I did hear that the Vitamin C content is overrated anyway as after they have travelled across the world and sat on the supermarket shelf for a while, there isn't much Vit C left in them anyway.
I think that re-actions to flu jabs vary, sorry yours's hasn't worked so well.
