That looks *so* good, Vince....
I have no idea what it is SB sorry. 🙂 I would have tried one also for exacly the same reason lolOoo I had forgotten about mushy peas. That looked like a very yummy lunch and I hope you smiled all through it. Well done and well deserved.
When we were on our way north I treated myself to an Auchtermochty!!! Well half of one.
Have you tried it? I had never heard of it before which is why I tried it.
Maz, I basically low carb and try to stick to 60-75gr per day.Well done Vince. I would be very interested in how you have done this as I cannot seem to stay out of pre-diabetes. Managed it once and it has gone back again, despite my efforts. Not sure why if I am honest.
Maz, I basically low carb and try to stick to 60-75gr per day.
When I am in Shanghai I also walk around 7 kms daily.
Lost 20 kilos in weight
Basically that is all I do.
I allow myself treats such as dark choccy and I eat that daily.
I feel that low carbing is the answer, difficult sometimes but pays dividends I am convinced.
🙂Absolutely correct Amigo and the odd bar or two of Moser Roth.‘Well, Vince the Prince made it look a cinch and he’s down to 36!’ 🙂
Tell them it was a diet of avocados, olives and strong blue cheese Vince...it’s partially true! You’re heading off the Diabetic Register at this rate but something tells me you might not want to in case complacency sets in.
🙂Absolutely correct Amigo and the odd bar or two of Moser Roth.
The biggest enemy is complacency and it is hard work to stay focussed but we must keep on track.
I am a street fighter from South Shields and never give up when I want to achieve something 😉.
My next target it as you say to get off the diabetic register but I am told that takes 5 years, so it is a longhaul but I am determined.
A bap with a sandwich of haggis, bacon and haggis inside it!!!I have no idea what it is SB sorry. 🙂 I would have tried one also for exacly the same reason lol
Thanks Vince. I probably have more carbs than you did but will battle on. /cannot lose weight as already underweight. Well done to you.Maz, I basically low carb and try to stick to 60-75gr per day.

Dr. called me a superstar lol and asked if I would be willing to talk to others who are not handling it so well, of course I said yes.
So I am now sitting in Seahouses having Haddock with chips and mushy peasand tartare sauce, bread and butter and thoroughly loving it.
Told the doc what I intended to do and her reply was “ Enjoy them, your pancreas can handle that occasionally “.
Vince is well pleased.
That looks like a whale. Well done Vince and an inspiration to others hopefullyWell after this my lunch I have 7.4. I am not going to complain at all about that
