I did a food diary last week to show the diabetic care nurse and she couldnt suggest any alterations apart from possible soya yogurts and soya custard.

I have a healthy vegan diet and anyone who wants any recipes please ask.

why is it when I think of vegan recipe's, I always imagine the ingrediants list will contain vegans somewhere??

vegan stew..

1 - brown the vegans in a little oil....

😉

:D

I told the nurse I had just eaten a chocolate vegan bunny and she had visions of a vegan rabbit.. Well they are are'nt they.:D

Hi Veganlass, I am veggie and am always on the look out for recipes - I am currently trying to cut down on all the cheesey veggie stuff out there to help me watch my weight, so if you have any suggestions that would be brilliant!

I can post some savoury recipes for you, if you want. As a newly diagnose T2 though you had better check out ingredients and alter if necessary.

Redwoods 'cheezly' is a good alternative. Apart from dairy free and lactose free, Nutritional values:
per 100g.
carbs of which is sugars are 0.4g

looks to me its fine.
Look in Holland and Barratt (H&B) which has a chiller cabinet there are variety ones. My fav, is edam style and it melts.
