Companies drafting 'no jab, no job' contracts to get staff vaccinatedThat's interesting. I know there's been discussion about this at the company I work for with no decision, and so far they're not even sure whether asking would be legal or not. (And anyway, they're fine with everyone WFH for now.)
We have not bought the Russian one, yet!Good grief, all these headaches! My brother says just don't have the Russian one! 🙄
I am sure I heard this been discussed and I am sure the lawyer said it was not legal. It’s legal for it to be inserted into the terms of employment. Just as it’s legal to say no smoking whilst on company business anywhere.
It’s likely to be tested in the courts at some stage I guess.
Pimlico plumbers have already made the adjustment and the lawyers have said it’s legal.I am sure I heard this been discussed and I am sure the lawyer said it was not legal.
Well I suspect if you are going overseas for holidays countries are going to want vaccination for visitors. Though most of the world won't be vaccinated by the summer. Our vaccination card does not even have our names on it and it just like a standard business card.Pimlico plumbers have already made the adjustment and the lawyers have said it’s legal.
SAGA have said nobody’s booking a holiday with then workout proof of vaccination.
Cinema chains are about to announce that proof of vaccination will be needed to enter their venues.
Sports stadia are rumoured to be doing the same.
It’s not at all unreasonable for employers to insist that staff are vaccinated and it will be a condition of employment for most in a short time I expect
Well, in Australia children aren’t allowed into state schools unless they have had the usual childhood immunisations. It’s also compulsory to vote. Last time I looked, Australia wasn’t a communist state.it is all about enforcing a new vaccination on people where as people should all ways be given a choice. no wonder people are beginning to feel like they are living in a communist state instead of a democratic country. freedom is been taken away from people by enforcing this.
i am with you on this grovesy there is no data to backup that a single dose is even effective
If it’s for health reasons, it should be treated the same as a disability discrimination, and arrangements made for the person to be able to do their job with as much mitigation of risk possible. (and the risk works both ways, both the risk of the unvaccinated person catching it at work and being very ill themselves, or catching it outside work and passing it on). But even for general disabilities, there are some instances where reasonable adjustments can’t be made, and it has to be said that a particular role just isn’t suitable. Whether, say, working face to face with a vulnerable person who for health reasons can’t have the jab, you could make a case for the carer needing to have had one, remains to be seen.I have just remembered I heard a caller on a radio phone in yesterday, for health reasons they can't have the vaccine.
It’s patently untrue that a single dose of vaccine isn’t effective.it is all about enforcing a new vaccination on people where as people should all ways be given a choice. no wonder people are beginning to feel like they are living in a communist state instead of a democratic country. freedom is been taken away from people by enforcing this.

They reckon it’s the most efficient one - and it’s called Sputnik, what’s not to like, he-he.Good grief, all these headaches! My brother says just don't have the Russian one! 🙄
As long as it’s not the one Putin is always hoping his enemies get....!They reckon it’s the most efficient one - and it’s called Sputnik, what’s not to like, he-he.😛

The vaccine is not proven yet to stop spread of the virus.
I can't see how Cinema's and Stadium's can can enforce it when supermarkets can't with mask wearing.

That happened to me - it was just a brief visitation, and I am actually feeling rather better than usual now, just under a week from having the jab.I'm pretty much recovered today.
I slept a lot! 1pm to 5pm yesterday afternoon and then I feel back asleep about 9pm until 10.30am this morning.
Headache, shivering, chills, etc have gone.
I still feel a bit run down. Plus my arm is still sore and tender.
Worrying thing is, I've now developed diarrhoea.
So now im thinking, was it a reaction to the vaccine, is it just a bug, or something else and maybe it was just a coincidence.
